Event! - Are you interested in visiting Washington DC with Mrs. Metz right after school is out in May? You'll get to visit all the cool sites - Mount Vernon, the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, the Smithsonian Museums and more. The trip is not a school-sponsored event, and it does cost money, but it's relatively cheap when you consider that your fees cover bus, airfare, hotel, food and all tours. And seriously...who doesn't want to take a flight to someplace awesome with your friends!? If you are interested in joining this adventure, come by Mrs. Metz's room (That's room 601 in the 6th grade pod) to pick up a flyer. Come fly the friendly skies, Bulldogs!
Event! - Are you interested in traveling to Hiratsuka, Japan with the Lawrence Sister City program? Feel free to drop by Ms. Grinage's or Ms. Lotton-Barker's rooms to pick up an application and ask questions. This trip is a great opportunity to immerse yourself in Japanese culture and share your own culture as well. Applications are due in early October, so get a head start and pick yours up today!
